Q: I can't access my CF-2Rs! They're not there! Help!
A: There are a few different reasons why your CF-2Rs might not be appearing. Either have not yet unlocked the CF-2Rs
or there are no lots/units to report CF-2Rs on.
Ensure your CF-2Rs should be unlocked
CF-2Rs are available after the following have been completed:
- CF-1R is signed by both the documentation author and responsible designer
- Performance-approach CF-1R fee is paid
- Builder / Contractor indicated on the Project Home
- Fully-completed Project Home, including the permit number
Multi-family & Multi-orientation: assign units/lots
For multi-family projects, each plan represents one building. The plan describes how many units are in one building. You must indicate how many buildings are using the plan before the units' CF-2Rs are available.
To add units to a multi-family project, go to the CF-1R plan page and view the Buildings/Dwelling Units tab. Click the icon to add one building's worth of units (in the case of the above screenshot, 11 units). Each unit will have its own set of CF-2R forms and each building also has its own CF-2R forms. Each unit will need a permit number and address established in the Units page before its CF-2Rs can be reported.
For multi-orientation projects, to add lots, simply go to the Lots page and click the icon to add one lot. Each lot is a discrete address; you will need to indicate a the plan that the lot is using, a permit number, and an address for each lot before its CF-2Rs can be reported.
