Not sure where your project or plan is? You might not be able to see it because it's Archived.
Every project and plan in CalCERTS has a Status that can be set to Active or Archived. Only the current company controlling the project may change the Status.
However, you can still see and work on Archived projects and plans. Archived does not remove or change access to your projects and plans. Project Status is just a way to organize and filter your job lists.
Viewing Archived Projects & Plans
Both the project lists and the CF-1R registration bins have Display Status menus alongside the text filter in the upper right. The Display Status is used to filter the list by Active and Archived statuses.
The options are All Projects, All Active, All Archived, All Archived in 30 Days, and All Archived in 60 Days. Select the desired filter, then click Apply Filter. Any Archived projects/plans will be highlighted on the list in red.
Editing Status On Project/Plan
There are two ways of editing project/plan Status and this may only be done by the company controlling the project.
For projects, open up the project to begin. On the Project Home (the first section which is blue), near the bottom of the page is a menu regarding Status. This menu only have Active and Archived. Be sure to hit the Save button when done.
For plans, open up the plan to begin. Click on Actions in the upper right of the plan's page, then select Archive Plan. At the top of the Plan it should say in italics that the Plan is archived.
To unarchive the plan, perform the exact same steps as above and select Un-Archive Plan.
Edit Status Within Lists/Bins
There is a second way to change Status as the company controlling the project/plan.
When looking at the list for Alteration or New Construction projects, on the right side there is an Active column with blue link that says [Update Status]. Each project listing has a checkbox. A checked box denotes an Active project; unchecked means it's Archived.
Clicking [Update Status] will Archive every project in the list that does not have a check in the box. Likewise, [Update Status] will set every project with a checkbox to Active if it's archived. In this way, project controllers may archive multiple projects at once.
Note: Although everyone, including non-project controllers, may see the checkboxes, only the company controller the project can actually utilize them. They will do nothing for companies with shared access only.
For plans, each listing in the bin has one of the above icons on the far right next to the folder.
is to Archive the plan and is to Un-Archive the plan, setting it to Active. Unlike the project lists, plans must be Archived and Un-Archived one at a time.
